I have a small clothing update for you....We have Success!! Another order arrived today and everything was a winner. (Thank the Lord.) I got 4 more shirts, another dress, and some jean capri's. All I need is another pair (or two) of shorts and some jeans. I'm very nervous about the jeans but I need to just bit the bullet. Thankfully, my job is extra casual so I can get away with wearing shorts and flip flops every day this summer if I want. No need to buy dress clothes/pants/slacks which is one of my favorite things about my job.

The biggest news of the week was that I have started to feel the baby. An hour or so after dinner on Wednesday, I was sitting in bed scrolling through Facebook when I felt little spasms on my right side just under my ribcage. I paused but didn't think much of it. And then it happened again. It was almost like little bubbles were happening on the inside but I could tell it wasn't my food digesting or anything. I muted the tv and sat still for a second and knew that's what it had to be. I screamed at Joe (who was in the living room watching boy TV) to come upstairs. I told him I was feeling the baby and the first thing he did was put his ear to my stomach......(Is he not the cutest?) I had to break it to him that he, unfortunately, would not be able to feel it. Just tonight, he brought it back up that I must tell him as soon as I'm able to feel the kicking from the outside. He made me promise to call him even if he's working so that he can come to my office. He's such a dork.
Also, I have to talk about how weird I sit these days. I catch myself resting my arms or hands on my stomach like it's some sort of coaster or something. Why do pregnancy woman do this? It's like all of sudden I have this protrusion coming out of my body which leads me to rest things on it. I figure this can only get worse, right?

I continued on my organizing streak on Sunday. Closets and drawers were emptied and everything was either purged, stored, or rearranged. I stored some winter items and my summer bottoms that won't fit until next summer. It's amazing how just refolding clothes can make a drawer seem so much more organized. I also separated my closet into maternity and non-maternity so I can mix and match as I need to. The biggest chunk of improvement was to Joe's closet. It was a disaster. It's very deep so we had a few tubs of storage and random junk shoved towards the back. I found a ton of teaching supplies and even some old college binders in one tub and a bunch of empty picture frames in another tub. Complete waste of space, if you ask me. We emptied everything and used one full tub to fill with Joe's insane amount of hunting gear. The next possible chance he will use any of it is for deer season in early December so it could be stored until then. We now have two entire shelves empty. It was pretty ridiculous how happy the whole process made me.

Sweet potato week is said to bring along lots of movement for baby Rufio. S/he is growing but still has plenty of room in the uterus to move around. Changing positions frequently, crossing legs, sucking a thumb, and doing somersaults is probably happening quite often. Well at least we know this is true! Everything else in my emails was pretty lame so I'll end it there. I figure somersaults has to mean we are in for a future gymnasts anyway so who cares about the rest of it, right?
To summarize the week, we have clothes, movement and an organizing episode. Sounds like a normal day in the life to me. :)
Edited to add: I had another dream last night about a pink cake.....just sayin.
Oh baby Rufio! You must be having pregnant premonitions about the baby. They say a mother always know! Only two more weeks till we find out for sure!

Also, I really don't care what it is. I'm just as excited about the idea of buying boy clothes as I am about seeing Joe's face if it's a girl!
