Flickr is being lame and not letting me upload new pictures so I'm gonna publish the post without this weeks picture. I promise it was taken though. We didn't time it very well since I had just inhaled a buffalo chicken pony shoe for dinner. Let's just say the bump is out there. Joe sure hasn't held his tongue when it comes to speaking about my growing bump. Thankfully, I'm not one of those people who gets self conscious about it because duh....I'm supposed to be getting bigger.
Anyways...I will update with the new pictures when flickr lets me.

We had dinner with Becky and Jason tonight and they asked us if we had gotten any farther on the name front. I didn't realize it until they brought it up but the whole name thing has been far from my mind. I always thought it would fun to discuss options and come up with a name but really it's some serious pressure! Let's get real. I have to come up with a name that this kid will live with forever. It's pretty important. And it's not like our last name makes the whole process any easier on us. I'm giving us another 10 weeks before I start to really worry about it.
Another checkmark was crossed off our To-Do list this week. The crib has been ordered. We also finally settled on a glider and ottoman and should have a chance to order those next week. We came to the conclusion that glider shopping is almost impossible if you are looking in stores, at least in Springfield. There are tons of leather recliner type options but that is so not my style. We did find what we were looking for but I had to compromise a bit on color which screws up my overall design vision but I'll make it work.
Dresser/changing table has also been selected but we have to find a time to make the trip up north to purchase it. I'll do a more specific post on nursery ideas next week maybe. Still trying to find the perfect curtains with zero success.

Our registering experience on Sunday was a success and ::gasp:: fun! We made it to BabiesRUs just in time because as soon as we got signed up, there were people everywhere waiting to do the same. I brought my copy of Baby Bargains with us but didn't refer to it much since I practically memorized everything we needed. I knew most of the products by heart (obsessive much?) and really only had to pick out the styles we would need, which I guess is the fun part. Joe had a blast with the scanning gun and a few hours later, we were outta there with almost everything checked off our list.
I can't forget to mention that we also picked up a Snoogle for me. The price tag is pretty ridiculous but it's the bentley of pregnancy pillows so I figured we couldn't go wrong. It's HUGE but I'm a fan.

Week 23 is a repeat fruit week and even though we don't get to move up the fruit scale, I'm pretty certain that baby is growing in there. The face is considered fully formed but the changes that will take place in the coming weeks includes adding a bit of baby fat. I love me some chunky cheeks! The keen ears are picking up sounds especially when it comes to music which means I need to crank up the Lady Gaga and DMB. In the next month, I should expect the baby to double his weight. Yikes!
In other random news, I haven't had ice cream in almost a week! Score one for me!
What the hell is that kind of fruit anyway?

I'm sure I wouldn't eat it...
I'm pretty sure it's a papaya.
