So I'm waaaaay late on this but it was a busy weekend out of town celebrating a wedding. This will hopefully be a quickie post as I'm currently knee deep in a cleaning frenzy that came on when I walked in the door from work.

This week, I hit another inevitable milestone. I've started wearing Joe's tshirts around the house and to bed. Mine are donzo so it's either his shirts or my maternity cami's (which I try to save for daywear.) Another great side effect of this whole thing? I now get winded doing regular everyday things. Walking up the stairs is tough, which is incredibly sad, really. So, yeah. Physically speaking, this week is brought to you by crap.
Overall though, I am doing pretty well. I'm comfortable 95% of the time which I take as a WIN. Sleeping is still fantastic. Fingers crossed that stays around for a while!
This week, the kid has been getting serious in his kicks. He's always been pretty consistent in the kick department but now they're HARD. Every so often, he'll get a big punch in that feels like he's busting through my skin. (As I sit here typing, he is going to town.) It feels pretty cool. I can't quite figure out what appendage is doing the punching/kicking because it's not in the same spot. At one point it's really low, the next it's way up in my ribs.

A quick update on the glucose saga. I've been doing.... just okay. After day 1 of testing, I was getting pretty discouraged. My readings were not what I was hoping they would be and I wasn't sure what I was doing wrong. I figured if I followed the guidelines that everything would work out just so. Well I've learned that certain carbs (even if they are within the "rules") are not compatible with me. After almost a full week, I'm starting to get the hang of it but it was definitely a challenging weekend to make the right decisions. I find out tomorrow afternoon from the endo if things are good or not.

Time for some squash! Baby T is getting close to 3 lbs at this point and is 15 inches in length. His energy should be increasing due to fat depositing beneath his skin. (Explains the kicks!) This energy also means growth is doubling and he's starting to run out of room in there. (Again, explains the kicks!) Because of brain wave activity, researchers have speculated that babies can even dream at this time! To be honest, that's kinda weird!
Hopefully Rufio doesn't come out shaped like that circular squash!
