On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, Barrett got a visit from the guy himself. Traditionally, children put their shoes out and he leaves candy or sweets or coins for nice kids and coal for naughty ones. It looks like B was one of the nice ones. He got a ring pop (which still hasn't been consumed....he liked the wrapping and has no idea what it really is), a harmonica and some bubbles.
I woke up a bit earlier than normal to make sure I was ready when Bubs awoke. He ended up still waking a bit before I needed but he entertained himself in bed for a while. He was very confused when I walked in the door with my camera in his face.
He took a beeline for the goods!
We didn't have time to get everything out and play but he seemed interested in the harmonica. He thought it was more like his recorder and kept blowing on the ends except in the middle.
It was a fun little introduction to the Christmas season!
