35 weeks

35 weeks, 4 days

Yes, we have a new background color for you this week. I went with the most subdued of the bunch.

Week 11 Week 14 Week 17 Week 20 Week 23 Week 26 Week 29 Week 32 Week 35

I'm not positive but I'm fairly certain this kid has "dropped" as they say. I can't physically feel much of a difference but the 10 bagillion times I've had to pee in the last 36 hours is pretty ridiculous. I'm not kidding that it's every 20 minutes. This makes me think that he is working his way down. I, also, felt like I was waddling a bit at the store tonight but that might be in my head.

I think Joe is starting to get nervous. I mentioned to him Saturday night when we were going to bed that the baby had moved down and it freaked him out. He actually asked if Baby T could stay in because he was scared. (Don't you love him?) They say that most men don't really feel like a dad until the kid is here but the mom feels like a mom when she gets the positive test. That seems pretty accurate but I know we both are probably not quite sure how much this kid is going to rock our world. I have a few more things to accomplish and then I'd say I'm 100% ready for him to arrive.....I need a few more weeks though!

Yet another boring week on the growth scale for Baby T. Everything from his toenails to his head of hair is fully formed, now we are just waiting for the nervous and immune systems to follow suit. By now, he is unlikely to get any longer but he will pack on a few more pounds. His hearing is all squared away but he likely prefers higher pitches more than anything. I guess I need to start blasting the music more!

  1. Woop Woop! Hopefully this week you will show us the completed nursery? Weird to think that on Thursday you will be 9 months pregnant!

  2. Sorry, completed nursery won't be for maybe two more weeks. Gotta get a few more things.

Does it freak you out more that Saturday is probably the last time you will see me without a kid?
